Sweet and Refreshing Lime, Orange and Pomegranate Popsicles

This kid-friendly recipe is perfect for any time of year, and it's easy to make. Simply blend together fresh lime juice, orange juice, and pomegranate seeds, then pour into popsicle molds and freeze. These tangy and colorful popsicles are a tasty and healthy treat for both kids and adults. Enjoy!

Equipment

  • Set of popsicle molds (6)
  • 6 Popsicle sticks (optional, in case the popsicle mold sticks don't work)

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup freshly squeezed or pure orange juice
  • 1/3 cup freshly squeezed juice or pure lemon or lime juice
  • 1/3 cup pure pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 3/4 cups sugar

Instructions
 

  • In 3 medium bowls, measure out each of the juices.
  • Add 1/4 cup sugar to each of the bowls and stir until dissolved.
  • Evenly divide the water into each of the bowls, as well.
  • Pour the pomegranate mixture into the bottom, evenly distributing amongst the popsicle molds. Freeze for 2 hours.
  • Pour the lime mixture amongst the popsicle molds. Freeze for another 2 hours. The pomegranate may not be completely frozen and they may swirl together. If you want them to be separated, freeze for longer in each step.
  • Pour the orange mixture amongst the popsicle molds. Freeze for another 2 hours or until firm.
  • Run each popsicle mold under warm water for a few seconds to help loosen them and enjoy!
